Tribadometry n. : a mathematical exploration of lesbian sex.

Named after the historically homophobic/reclaimed slur, Tribade, Tribadometry is a gender inclusive integration of lesbian sex and the universal language of mathematics. Each collage depicts two pairs of legs overlaid with mathematical text and diagrams. The math is connected to the figures by graphical analysis, metaphorical associations, and general playfulness. This collection is the foundation of a multi-dimensional, multi-media project, where Tribadometry is a counterpoint to Western culture’s heteronormativity, with the end results celebrating the inherent beauty within both mathematics and queer intimacy.
